This nursing facility is a hidden treasure! As a registered nurse and a nursing home administrator what you want for your loved one are caring dedicated staff and they can be found here! Our mom was a resident here for two and a half years and the personalized care she received was second to none. The staff were not only competent but listened to us and devised mom’s care plan to include all of us as a family. Due to mom’s disease process she declined and when we cried her caregivers cried along with us. This is when you know how truly special the folks at Forest View are. The administrator Margeaux is excellent and helps her residents and families in any way she can. She seems to always be there for you. Not only are the nursing staff excellent but all other departments as well. Social services, activities, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, office and business office staff to the beautician who do all they can to make you happy. The folks at Forest View will always be in our hearts and we cannot thank them enough for all they did for us!

"My mother has been a resident of Forest View Nursing Facility in Itasca for about two and half years. I have come to know many of their employees and appreciate greatly the compassion and devotion they show the residents there. I have visited my mother each day of the week and at different times of the day and she is always up, dressed, and her room is always clean, and bed made. Even in the memory care wing where my mom resides there are activities, memory games, and music playing. It was a very difficult decision for my family to move my mom to a full care facility but knowing that she is being cared for means everything to us."

"Since my father first moved into the Traditions Unit, I've been impressed by the staffs patience and flexibility in working to meet his unique needs as a resident with dementia. The openness the staff members have shown him and other residents demonstrates and underlying care and compassion that extends beyond their professional responsibilities. Knowing that my father is in competent, caring hands has given my family tremendous peace of mind."
